St Chad’s is a lively and varied community of people gathered from the local Comberton and Offmore communities, and further afield. We seek to be a caring, welcoming and relevant church, aiming to learn more about Jesus and show His love to all.
Sunday morning services aim to be accessible to those not used to church, and accommodate the full range of ages. They are run in a informal and interactive way. The singing is led by a music group and we enjoy a range of styles from modern to traditional.
In 2006, St Chad’s celebrated its Golden Jubilee and many events were held during the year for church members and local residents, plus visitors from a further distance. Many Sundays saw visiting preachers in the church. Some of the projects from 2006 have continued as a service in the community. These include the Jubilee Club, a Carers’ group, and the garden, the latter being an exciting ongoing project which has involved children from the local school as well as the community and members of the church. Many photographs of Jubilee events can be found on our web gallery: www.saintchadschurch.net
