Messy Church

Messy Church is a great opportunity for you as a family to be creative, have fun, meet new people and find out more about God. We gather once a month on a Sunday afternoon from 3.30-5.30pm.

Each month we explore a different theme from the Bible that inspires the afternoon. Over the past year these themes have included Noah, Joseph, Creation, Easter and Pentecost.

We begin with an exciting hour of different craft activities suitable for all ages and abilities. This is followed by a time where we get together, to link the crafts into the theme, through story, prayer and song.  The afternoon finishes with a cooked meal that we all share together.

Messy Church is for anyone with children (your own or borrowed) who wants to get creative in worship; who wants to make new friends in their community; who wants fun, free family activities; who wants to try church out but who doesn’t think their children will sit quietly for long. Please join us if you can, invite anyone you think might be interested and pray for Messy Church and the families we reach.
