St George’s Coffee Shop is held on Friday mornings 10 to 12. Fresh filter coffee, cappuccino, tea and toasted tea cakes are available for purchase. There is free squash for accompanied children. It is an opportunity to relax, chat and meet with new friends. All are welcome so please pop in to join us.
We are usually in the main Church building but during the winter months we use the adjoining
Church Annexe.
Our aims are:-
- To make the church more widely available to the community whilst services are not taking place.
- To provide an opportunity to access information about the Christian faith informally.
- To encounter God in fellowship with others and in stillness and quiet.
- To promote our Fairtrade status by using Fairtrade consumables.
In the first year over £1000 was donated from our funds to local community projects, Christian
Mission and Church Funds.
